Gemma Ward – one of Australia’s most valuable exports in the fashion industry – was chosen to grace the covers of the inaugural Vogue China. The first issue of Vogue China sold over 300,000 copies in only the first three hours and is set to be a one of the most promising ventures for publishers Conde Nast International who have also enjoyed recent success in the Russian market.

Ward who is not even 18 is one of todays most sought after models rumoured to be earning over 20,000 each runway show. She replaced Kate Moss in the Calvin Klein Obsession campaign, is fronting the style and design issue of Time magazine and is currently considered the no. 2 model in the world.
